About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and analytical individual to join our Graduate Quantitative Trader program.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making.

You will work closely with experienced traders to develop your skills and knowledge in quantitative trading.

As part of our training program, you will learn about decision science, game theory, and capital markets through classroom education and mock trading sessions.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in poker and strategy games to further develop your decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and apply quantitative and game-theoretical approaches to make decisions in financial markets.
  • Collaborate with experienced traders to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in classroom education and mock trading sessions to reinforce learning.
  • Develop decision-making skills through playing poker and other strategy games.

Requirements

  • Numerical skills: ability to analyze data and make sound decisions.
  • Problem-solving skills: enjoy solving puzzles and discovering solutions.
  • Communication skills: able to build relationships and share ideas effectively.
  • Curious mindset: excited by a career in trading.
  • Recent graduate or final-year student: confirmed plan to graduate with a degree in any discipline (most typically STEM), Distinction average WAM, from an Australian or New Zealand University.
