We are currently seeking applicants for Senior Resident Medical Officer (SRMO) positions in Port Macquarie & Kempsey Emergency Departments.

The ideal candidate will be a postgraduate year 3+ medical professional with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Our emergency departments offer a wide range of experiences, including rotations in ICU, Anaesthetics, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, and Ultrasound.

A key aspect of our job is the opportunity to work closely with a talented team of ED consultants who are committed to teaching and mentoring.

As a SRMO, you will have the chance to develop your clinical skills, work on complex cases, and contribute to the growth and development of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with best practice standards.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the department through participation in quality improvement initiatives and education programs.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate year 3+ medical degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with AHPRA as a medical practitioner.
  • Current visa or ability to obtain a visa to work in Australia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
