Departmental Operations Manager

About the Role:
- Work in conjunction with the Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily operations of the Laundry/Uniform Department, ensuring seamless management and assistance.
- Design and implement comprehensive personal development programs for team members to enhance their skills and boost morale.
- Function effectively within a dynamic team environment, showcasing exceptional interpersonal, communication, and time management abilities.
- Take an active role during busy periods within the department, providing hands-on support and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper to create fortnightly rosters and manage payroll for the department, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and execute effective strategies to elevate team performance and drive results.
- Partner closely with the Executive Housekeeper to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general computer skills for administrative tasks.
- Contribute positively to a diverse and inclusive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork among colleagues.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to enhance departmental operations and processes.
