Research Fellow

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at the Centre for Social Impact. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in contributing to impactful research on critical issues like homelessness and poverty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in data preparation, develop ETL pipelines, and analyse large datasets to uncover valuable insights for diverse audiences.
- Deploy and maintain predictive models and machine learning algorithms while ensuring data privacy and accuracy.
- Work with stakeholders and team members to deliver data-driven solutions and drive continuous improvement through innovation.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with honours.
- Proven hands-on experience in data science, including data preparation, analysis, visualisation, and effective communication of results through reports and dashboards.
- Strong skills in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, along with experience in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata) and the Microsoft ecosystem (Power BI, SharePoint).
