About Evolve Scientific:
- A bioanalytical laboratory that performs testing on clinical trial samples for vaccines, immuno-oncology and infectious diseases.
- Located in the Eastern suburbs.
- We are seeking multiple scientific research associates on an ongoing contract basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the principal scientist or laboratory services lead, your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Performing sample processing including blood clotting, centrifuging, plasma collection, urine dipsticks.
- Coordinating logistics and shipping samples.
- Documenting laboratory work and results.
- Maintaining technical equipment and equipment logs.
- Working safely in the laboratory with biological and chemical hazards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in science majoring in immunology, biochemistry or related discipline.
- Previous experience in a pathology laboratory in sample reception processing blood or urine samples.
- Training and experience with Biosafety Level 2 techniques are highly regarded.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Remuneration and Benefits:
- The estimated salary range for this position is AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum.
