Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Policy Advisor to join our high-performing team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing, analysing and implementing policy and program frameworks aligned with government priorities.

You will work closely with stakeholders across government, industry and community to inform evidence-based policy development and ensure that initiatives are aligned with departmental and whole-of-government objectives.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and analyse policy and program frameworks
  • Support the design, governance and evaluation of grants and funding programs
  • Conduct research and provide high-quality briefings, discussion papers and advice to senior executives and Ministers
  • Engage with stakeholders to inform evidence-based policy development
  • Monitor policy effectiveness and recommend improvements
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong knowledge of public policy development, program design and grants administration
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
