Mahercorp is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team in the North region. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop and manage monthly build budgets and schedules, including claims and settlements.
- Site Management: Work closely with the Construction Manager and Onsite Client Liaison to provide weekly updates on job portfolios.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve site issues, and suggest opportunities for improvement in collaboration with the Construction Manager.
- Quality Assurance: Review plans and documentation with trades prior to work commencement, ensuring compliance with OH&S legislation.
- Project Coordination: Manage and reduce Extra to Orders (ETOs), ensure Purchase Orders (POs) are raised prior to commencement of works, and process invoices for trade and supplier payments.
- Client Liaison: Deliver exceptional service to clients, maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and timely records.
- Experience: Proven experience in site supervising within residential construction.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of building standards, OHS regulations, and QA systems.
- Qualifications: Trade qualification such as carpentry is an advantage, but not required.
- Skills: Strong customer service focus, valid Victorian Driver's License, Construction Induction Card, and current First Aid qualification including CPR.
