System Performance Manager Job Description

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of strategic business goals and objectives through the development of appropriate strategies and initiatives for improving the management of assets.

  • Develop Asset Management strategies and tactics for current and future assets to optimize performance and investment decisions.
  • Provide strategic advice and insights into asset performance to improve reliability and optimise asset investment.
  • Review and monitor asset performance to identify and manage the development of asset performance driven strategies and improvement initiatives.
  • Implement and manage processes and reporting that enable data driven decision making for optimum asset performance and reliability.
  • Business ownership and development of advanced analytics and assessments related to asset performance and risk.
  • Review system reliability performance and identify opportunities to improve current performance.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of asset performance criteria and assessment.
  • At least 10 years' experience in an asset management role.
  • Experience in power system Generation/Transmission/Distribution and/or utility asset management maintenance operational strategies investment planning renewal and replacement processes and practices.
