Category Insights Manager

About the Role:
  • We are seeking an experienced Category Insights Manager to partner with our Sales team in customer engagement sessions, identifying growth initiatives during annual range review cycles.
  • The ideal candidate will provide data-led insights to drive marketing strategy across all channels, incorporating relevant information from local and global sources to direct NPD development.
  • As a key member of our commercial team, you will support sales to grow, develop, and implement strategic account plans through the provision of data-led insights aligned with broader business strategy, objectives, and internal perspectives.
  • You will partner cross-functionally to achieve commercial objectives across all channels within assigned financial parameters.
  • Your expertise will be instrumental in developing long-term category strategies for 3-year planning and innovation development processes.
  • You will identify future category trends and assist in the development of category growth drivers through the Annual Internal Category Planning process.
  • Working closely with internal and external customers, you will provide expert category analysis that blends consumer insights and shopper insights/dynamics to build a compelling category plan.
  • You will develop and recommend optimal promotional strategies that deliver against key metrics for success.
  • In addition, you will engage key internal and external sources to identify 'how our shoppers shop' and provide this data to Sales & Marketing teams to execute with excellence within store.
