English Department Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and innovative educator to lead our school's English department. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone committed to driving improvement in teaching and learning practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the implementation of curriculum across the department.
  • Lead Professional Learning Teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Leaders Of Pedagogy and Literacy Coach to enhance teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to and lead curriculum implementation, goal setting, and professional development.
  • Support colleagues in mentoring and monitoring progress.
  • Maintain a focus on content, technology, and pedagogy balance.
  • Foster innovative approaches to contemporary pedagogy.
  • Evaluate and refine teaching strategies to improve student achievement.
  • Implement instructional coaching methods to promote high-impact practices.
  • Ensure compliance with NESA and Diocesan curriculum requirements.
  • Develop and adapt programs using evidence-based approaches.
  • Ensure effective use of contemporary learning spaces.
  • Maintain Workplace Health and Safety standards.
