Job Opportunity: Operator Maintainer Technician

The Operator Maintainer Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the reliable and cost-efficient operation of LFG power station plant and equipment.

  • Adhere to highest standards of safety and environmental performance.
  • Perform regular maintenance on Gas fired Caterpillar Engine generators and associated control systems.
  • Manage Oracle Maintenance Management System effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Take proactive measures to prevent breakdowns and maintain essential equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Participate in shared call-out rosters.
  • Optimize warehouse stock and inventory levels.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid WA 'A' Grade Electrical License (Electrical Mechanical).
  • Possess a current WA drivers' license (C class).
  • Hold a First Aid certificate / LV Rescue certification.
  • Able to carry out low-level Gas Engine and Alternator servicing, testing, maintenance, and fault-finding.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, AVRs, Governors, Protection Relays, and UPS Systems is necessary.
  • Understanding of Safety Systems JSEAs and Permit to Work procedures is required.
  • Experience with Oracle Maintenance Management System is advantageous.
  • Landfill Gas Power Station experience is highly regarded.
  • Police clearance is mandatory.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Forklift High Risk License.
  • HV Switching qualification.
  • (Instrumentation) qualifications.
  • Power station experience.
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications.
