Senior Waste Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our waste management services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring services are delivered safely and efficiently while achieving operational excellence.

About the Role

  • Lead a team of professionals in providing waste management services.
  • Maintain a safe and sustainable resource recovery system while meeting stakeholders' expectations.
  • Participate in setting strategies and implementing plans to achieve business outcomes.
  • Prepare, monitor, and update service programs and budgets.
  • Drive adoption of safe work practices and behaviour change education within the community and industry.
  • Lead activities related to efficient operations, performance data, procurement, financial management, and resourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and sustain service outcomes through leadership of an operational team.
  • Minimum 2 years+ experience in procurement, contract management, resource management, and report analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including respect, integrity, honesty, and confidentiality.
  • White card and current C-Class Driver's License required.
  • National Police Clearance necessary.
