Located in Frenchs Forest, only 13kms north of Sydney CBD, the hospital offers a contemporary 488 bed facility comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds.

The Role

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our Day Surgery Admissions (DOSA) team, providing care to patients being admitted for theatre procedures. As an Enrolled Nurse in this role, you will have a strong patient-service focus, demonstrated commitment to continued service improvement, and problem-solving skills to improve patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across all areas of Day Surgery including pre-operative and post-operative areas
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA registration
  • Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Proven clinical experience in day surgery, preferably in a similar setting
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including communication and teamwork
