About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Stanwell Power Station in Rockhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing project management and engineering oversight of the FEITH facility infrastructure and its projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of processes and systems to monitor and manage the projects detailed engineering activities
  • Develop effective relationships collaborating across the corporation, influencing engineering decisions and standards by technical credibility and knowledge without direct line control
  • Monitor and manage the projects technical implementation activities to ensure that the facility is constructed in accordance with the contract and technical specifications
  • Effectively manage project design and construction engineering risks and ensure a high level of safety and environmental performance
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team throughout the life of the project to ensure that technical and commercial alignment and project objectives remain on target
Requirements
  • Proven experience working on end-to-end project lifecycles particularly on the detailed design phase
  • Strong communicator and collaborator to take stakeholders and technology partners on the journey
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing new processes
  • Experienced in reprioritising goals with a continuous shift of focus and communication
  • Tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline or equivalent, preferably civil or mechanical
  • Desirable: Worked across multi-disciplines with a mix of projects and operations background
