Data Specialist Role

About the Data Specialist position, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of our organization.

The successful candidate will support the management of data systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry, monitoring fundraising activities, and assisting with data preparation for campaigns and appeals.

This involves collaborating closely with the Database and Project Manager to oversee the data systems and ensure seamless operations.

You will also be responsible for financial reconciliation of online donations, high-level reporting, and supporting fundraising at multiple campuses through data updates and extraction.

We are seeking an experienced Data Specialist with:

  • Three years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience using and managing Salesforce
  • Understanding of data needs for fundraising organizations and back-end requirements
  • Exceptional skills in database management and data system oversight
  • Experience in data analysis and report/dashboard development
  • Ability to mass update and create records using Salesforce data tools
  • Experience extracting data for campaigns and appeals, donor segmentation, and journeys
  • Previous experience with Pardot highly desirable
  • Experience working with third-party fundraising platforms and integrating them with data systems
  • Understanding of legal requirements for charities in donor data storage and use
