About the Role

The Automatic Door Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and other works on Automatic Door Systems and Manual swing doors. This role will primarily involve working in the ACT area, with occasional regional work required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on Automatic Door Systems and Manual swing doors
  • Responding to breakdowns and performing emergency repairs
  • Conducting site visits to assess and repair door systems
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication
  • Working collaboratively with the team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience
  • Product knowledge and diagnostic capabilities
  • Knowledge of electrical safety principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications
  • Baseline Clearance
  • Industry White Card
  • EWP / Boom Operator Licence Working at heights training
  • Disconnect / Reconnect restricted electrical licence (S permit)
