Operations Manager Job Description

Our Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping and cleaning operations across Brisbane, ensuring high standards of cleanliness in hotel and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of housekeepers and cleaners to ensure efficient delivery of services.
  • Coordinate daily cleaning tasks to maximize efficiency and quality.
  • Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to staff members.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Oversee the management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Address client concerns and ensure exceptional service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, previous experience in the hospitality industry, and education in hospitality management or related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial capacity, is preferred.

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards is essential. Proven leadership and team management skills, along with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively, are also required. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills, are necessary for this role.
