As a proactive and motivated Project Consultant, you will play a vital role in the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation's (ILSC) Western Divisional New Business team. With a diverse project portfolio, this position offers a rewarding and challenging opportunity to deliver economic, environmental, social, and/or cultural benefits to Indigenous Australians.

Under the direction of the Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiating with stakeholders and facilitating collaborative approaches to project development to optimize and deliver sustainable economic, environmental, social, or cultural benefits to Indigenous Australians.
  • Proactively developing proposals for the ILSC to assist Indigenous Organizations to acquire land and water rights or manage land that they already own to deliver sustainable economic, environmental, social, or cultural benefits.
  • Conducting research, market analysis, project scoping, due diligence, and feasibility analysis of projects to establish the business case for ILSC investment.
  • Preparing for and facilitating workshops to assist stakeholders and the ILSC to make informed decisions, and to set and monitor future objectives regarding land and water ownership and management.
  • Planning, negotiating, developing, and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and agencies to foster beneficial partnerships and enhance the application of ILSC programs.
  • Developing regional knowledge to focus activities, coordinate strategies, and achieve regionally relevant outcomes.
  • Managing existing and new land and water acquisition and management projects to achieve sustainable outcomes in a timely manner and maintain project compliance.

As a valued member of the ILSC team, you will have access to:

  • A salary range of $96,194 to $106,650 plus 15.4% superannuation.
