Culinary Expert

Blue Care Caloundra is seeking a dedicated culinary expert to support the provision of nutritious meals for residents and the wider hospitality team.

About the Role:
  • Prepare, cook, and serve food in adherence with dietary requirements with a strong focus on food safety standards.
  • Support senior hospitality staff members with menu design and implementation,
  • Promote quality standards and maintain service with standard operating procedures.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in safe food preparation, storage, and delivery, a clear understanding of WHS, be confident in medium-high volume meal preparation, and demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent skills from previous experience
  • Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding of Australian food and beverage standards
  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
