Retail Sales Merchandiser Job

Key to our company's success is the retail sales merchandising role. This position involves working closely with clients in various channels and delivering impactful marketing and merchandising solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain product visibility within Grocery, Discount Department, and Petrol Channels
  • Design point of sale displays and complete planograms while ensuring optimal product placement
  • Negotiate shelf space with store managers to leverage market share
  • Monitor stock levels for stores and coordinate with store managers
  • Foster strong relationships with key personnel in all stores
  • Manage and utilize stock and point of sale materials sent to you
  • Submit accurate data upon completion of each visit
  • Provide feedback and relevant insights to Field Managers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in merchandising or retail sales within FMCG (especially Grocery stores) is highly desirable
  • Strong relationship building skills and negotiation abilities
  • Creativity, thinking outside the box
  • A hunger to drive results in your territory
  • Valid driver license & reliable vehicle
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail & pride in your work
  • Excellent time management skills & a positive attitude
  • Proficiency in using technology
