About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team as a Team Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a small team of Provisional Psychologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners, maintaining a caseload of NDIS clients, and ensuring behaviour support reports and assessments are completed within specified timeframes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners
  • Maintain a caseload of NDIS clients and ensure high-quality behaviour support reports and assessments
  • Develop and implement service user engagement strategies to maximize choice, control, and flexibility
  • Ensure policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and reviewed, and that staff and service users understand and are involved in these processes
  • Report the use of restrictive practices in accordance with NDIS and NSW guidelines

Requirements
  • APHRA Registered Psychologist or BA of Social Work or equivalent
  • NDIS - Level 2 - Core or Proficient - Advanced level preferred
  • Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Flexibility in work hours may be necessary, and some travel may be required
  • Drivers licence and car for work
  • Able to obtain a clean Working With Children Check and Police Clearance
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
