Overview:

The Central Sterilisation Supply Department at Western Health is seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified person to join our leadership team as a CSSD Manager.

About the Role:

This is a pivotal role in supporting the operation of dynamic departments, responsible for the reprocessing of reusable medical devices across 6 campuses, including supporting the Endoscopy departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Possess a relevant Post Graduate qualification or relevant clinical experience">
  • Demonstrate effective management skills appropriate for a manager's role">
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbal">
  • Possess well developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution strategies">
  • Possess a knowledge of relevant standards, legislation, policies and human resource procedures">
  • Have a commitment to ongoing education and learning">
  • Have a willingness to learn and support a growing team across multiple campuses">
  • Have good computer skills">
  • Have a commitment to maintaining high quality standards to support safe patient care">
  • Support the recruitment process and retention of staff">
