Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional chairside assistance to our dentists, dental therapists, and oral health therapists, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Maintain and implement infection control standards within the dental surgery and sterilization bay, upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Deliver oral health education and promotion to patients, promoting healthy habits and empowering them to take control of their oral health.
  • Manage clinic schedules and workflows, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of clients, including families, carers, and other professionals, to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating empathy, respect, and a patient-centered approach.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting.
  • Knowledge of patient care processes, techniques, and terminology within a community health environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, with a positive attitude and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse client groups.
  • Previous experience in a community health or dental setting is highly regarded.
