Process Improvement Manager

We are seeking a skilled Process Improvement Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-evolving area of the business.

This role offers a unique chance to work across a wide range of initiatives, often simultaneously, partnering with internal teams and external affiliates to bring structure, accountability, and momentum where it's needed most.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in process optimisation and/or control improvement, strong understanding of risk management principles and control frameworks, and practical project management skills – planning, tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver process and control improvement initiatives in line with strategic objectives
    • Develop and manage delivery plans, RAID logs, and reporting for executive visibility
    • Partner with Line 1 Risk to ensure controls meet regulatory and internal standards
    • Support change management activities across impacted teams
    • Facilitate control assessments, identify gaps, and support sustainable solutions
    • Collaborate with internal teams and affiliate partners (e.g. Coles, Qantas, ING, Virgin)
    • Coordinate training and communication to support adoption of new processes
  • What Experience You'll Bring:
    • Proven experience in process optimisation and/or control improvement
    • Strong understanding of risk management principles and control frameworks
    • Practical project management skills – planning, tracking, and stakeholder engagement
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including with senior leaders
    • Comfort working independently and navigating matrixed environments
    • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries (preferred)
    • Familiarity with RAID, risk tools, or process automation (a bonus, not required)
