Senior General Physician Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic general physician to join our growing and dynamic General Medicine Unit.
Key responsibilities include working with a strong team to provide high-quality care to complex patients, making a significant impact on the health and well-being of our diverse community.
Our unit is one of the largest and busiest inpatient units, comprising 11.9 FTE of SMS, 18 Advanced Trainees, and approximately 60 basic physician trainees and interns rotating through the unit.
Responsibilities include participating in ward and consult service rosters, participating in an on-call roster and weekend ward rounds, and opportunities to participate in perioperative ward round roster as well as General Medicine and Perioperative Clinics.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work within the Division of Aged, General Medicine and Subacute Services, delivering high-quality healthcare to patients across various acute and subacute inpatient units.
The successful candidate will possess relevant clinical experience and clinical competence required for practice as a consultant physician in General and Acute Care Medicine, and have experience in the support and supervision of Junior Medical Staff.
