SEO/SEM Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced SEO/SEM specialist to lead our performance marketing efforts for respected brands across Australia and international markets.

You will be responsible for campaign delivery end-to-end, from strategy to optimization, and help shape how we deliver SEO/SEM results that matter.

This is a rare opportunity to build and define the SEO/SEM offering at a quality-first agency.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver SEO and SEM campaigns for government, non-profit, and commercial clients.
  • Set clear goals, manage budgets, and optimize campaigns to improve ROI and client success.
  • Present strategy and insights with confidence – ensuring clients understand what's working and why.
  • Conduct audits and apply best practices in indexing, structure, schema markup, and performance.
  • Launch and refine Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns with a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Deliver meaningful reports that identify opportunities and drive decision-making aligned with client goals.
About You:
  • 5+ years' hands-on SEO/SEM experience.
  • Agency background – you know how to juggle multiple clients and competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical mindset – you love translating data into smart decisions.
  • Clean communicator – you explain strategy and results in plain English.
  • Strategic thinker with a sharp eye for detail and delivery.
  • Comfortable around CMS platforms (WordPress, Umbraco) and basic technical language.
  • Self-directed, organized, and accountable – you take ownership and follow through.
  • Preferred Tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Looker Studio, AHREFs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush.
