Glenfield, Australia based organization seeks volunteers to support the spiritual and emotional needs of elderly residents in their home.

As a volunteer, you'll work alongside our Pastoral Care Coordinator to supplement and complement their work. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting people to meet their spiritual needs

The ideal candidate will have high-level interpersonal skills, including strong empathy and listening skills. You may also be interested in completing our Spiritual Care Series training for preparation.

This rewarding role involves regular visits from volunteers to help improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation.

We require applicants to be 18 years or older, with a National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by us. A time commitment of one hour per week for six months or longer is preferred, though flexible arrangements can be discussed.
