Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Case Worker. As a key member of our Doorways program, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals and families in need.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess the needs of community members, identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop tailored case plans to help them achieve their goals. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders, and community members to deliver high-quality services that make a lasting impact.

Requirements:
  • A Diploma in Community Services or a related field; or significant relevant experience
  • Demonstrable experience working with disadvantaged community members to effect positive change
  • The ability to motivate and guide others to achieve their goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • A valid Blue Card (QLD)
  • A valid driver's license and a comprehensively insured vehicle for work-related purposes
