Quality Assurance Supervisor Role Overview
The role of Quality Assurance Supervisor is a critical position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products. This includes developing and implementing quality assurance programs to ensure that raw materials and finished products meet our quality specifications and customer expectations.
Key responsibilities of this role include maintaining comprehensive quality assurance manuals, communicating with stakeholders to improve quality, driving food safety and quality culture through engagement and initiatives with the team, conducting product shelf-life and environmental testing, and providing ongoing training and development of employees concerning product quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Additionally, this role involves acting on behalf of the Quality Assurance Manager in their absence and supporting them in planning, directing, and coordinating food safety, quality, and legal compliance programs and initiatives.
Requirements for this role include strong working relationships across departments, experience working successfully with a Quality Management System, IT skills including MS Office Package and Databases, good time management and organisational abilities, and experience managing complaints, including analysis, investigation, report writing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills, are also essential for success in this role.
