About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at BaptistCare in Margaret River. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Care Partners, ensuring the care needs of residents are met in accordance with clinical needs and care plans.
  • Promote consistency in care delivery, delegating activities, and providing directions to Enrolled Nurses, Care Partners, and others.
  • Empower Enrolled Nurses and Care Partners to provide care in accordance with expected standards and scope of practice.
  • Develop care plans for each resident, utilizing information from assessments and in liaison with the resident, family, GP, and allied health professionals.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience in Aged Care or Community Services is highly regarded.
  • Experience in Dementia support is highly regarded.
  • Sound understanding of care assessment and provision within the Aged and Health Care sectors.
  • Relates to the aged care population with empathy, understanding, and respect.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Willingness to obtain or provide proof of Influenza & Covid-19 Vaccination.
  • Willingness to obtain or provide proof of Up-to-date 2023 Influenza & three (3) Covid-19 Vaccinations.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical if required.
  • Willingness to obtain or provide proof of a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check (new applications refunded).
  • Willingness to obtain or provide proof of NDIS Worker Orientation Modules.
