We are seeking a banking and finance lawyer to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney. The ideal candidate will have experience in general banking or financial services regulation (FSR) and funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Advising institutional and private financiers, banks, onshore and offshore real estate developers, commercial borrowers, and family offices on property and construction loans, securitization, and asset financing matters.">
  • Working with clients to establish new Australian funds, raise capital, and operate funds in Australia, including wholesale funds, capital partnerships, and club funds.">
  • Providing advice on investments, including sovereign wealth fund exposure and Tier One Partners with local and international experience.">
  • Collaborating with the team to develop innovative financing platforms for corporate finance, property finance, fund finance, and energy projects.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • 3-7 years post-qualification experience (PQE)">
  • Experience in general banking or financial services regulation (FSR) and funds">
  • Strong knowledge of Australian laws and regulations related to banking, finance, and funds">
  • Excellent communication and project management skills">
