We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to provide community-based consultation, assessment and treatment to individuals experiencing serious mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive, recovery-orientated mental healthcare services to adults experiencing mental health deterioration and their carers/support people
• Engage with community managed and non-government services to develop innovative and culturally safe service options
• Participate in the development of outreach programs to surrounding local communities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Psychology or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in mental health or equivalent experience
• Current registration as a Registered Psychologist or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a rural setting
