Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct chemical and physical assessments of therapeutic products to ensure quality and purity, utilizing a variety of methodologies.
  • Perform investigative testing on complaint samples and counterfeit or unregistered therapeutic products.
  • Contribute to the development and validation of analytical methodologies.
  • Compile and maintain comprehensive reports on testing outcomes and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Support the enhancement and upkeep of laboratory quality systems.
  • Assist with administrative duties including sample logging and correspondence.
  • Engage in performance discussions and contribute to team objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A tertiary qualification in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • Recent laboratory experience in applied analytical chemistry is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with instrumental analytical techniques such as UPLC/HPLC, LC/MS, GC/MS, and UV/VIS is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques is essential.
