Software Developer Position

We are looking for a talented software developer to join our team. As a software developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining commercial software used by thousands of mining professionals worldwide.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about writing clean code, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running. You will have the chance to contribute to complex projects with real-world impacts and work collaboratively with experienced mining professionals and software engineers.

  • You will write production code and automated tests that ship into commercial releases.
  • You will fix bugs to maintain existing features.
  • You will participate in planning, stand-ups, showcases, retrospectives.
  • You will draft scoping documents and create as-built documentation.
About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to use a variety of technologies across our products, including C#, Python, Typescript, React, and C++. You will also have the chance to learn from one of Brisbane's largest software development hubs and collaborate with experienced developers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Graduating within the next 6 months with a degree in Software Engineering, IT, or Computer Science.
  • Located in Perth.
  • Passionate about writing clean code.
  • Proactive and ready to hit the ground running.
  • Strong desire to solve complex problems with real world impacts.
  • Motivated team player.
