Product Recovery Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Recovery Specialist to ensure the quality of our products and give them a second chance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for recovering products that are no longer saleable.
About the Role:
- You will engage with customers to understand their needs and provide knowledge on our products and services.
- Present our products in an attractive way using strong commercial expression and set relevant prices to attract customers while generating the best results for the store.
- Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging them back into a saleable condition.
- Assemble our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality.
- Support the quality work in the store to constantly improve customers' quality perception of our products.
- Closely consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products.
- Built strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that cultivates a strong understanding of product recovery, quality and compliance processes.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment within the store, ensuring the well-being of both customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
- A 'Togetherness' mindset where you'll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently.
- A passion for building furniture and our sustainability initiatives.
- Experience with regular use of computers and IT systems.
- A strong customer focus, ensuring we keep the customer in mind at all times.
- The ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and think outside of the box.
- A safety mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive heavy lifting.
- A motivated, results-driven mindset that does not shy away from challenges.
- Comfortable with the physicality associated with this role, similar to a warehouse colleague.
