About the Role
The Australian Reinforcing Company (ARC) is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead and oversee our Laverton North and Dandenong branches, driving growth in operations and production capacity for reinforcing bar processing.
This multi-site leadership role requires a proven leader in operations & sales management, with the ability to optimize processes for maximum efficiency and drive exceptional sales performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations, managing the sales channel in the commercial bar segment, and executing plans to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Senior leadership of operational, distribution, and sales teams, promoting a high-performing culture
- Lead and execute plans to achieve operational excellence
- Champion a strong safety culture
- Oversee a sales team of two Business Development Managers to achieve customer growth in the commercial bar segment
- Coaching and developing team members
- Collaborate with other Area and Regional Leaders to identify areas for continuous improvement
- P&L, EBIT, and financial reporting responsibility
Requirements
- Strong background in operational management and leadership
- Successful track record in leading sales teams and driving growth
- Industry experience within reinforcing, building products, construction, or industrial manufacturing
- Implementation of a high-performance culture across multiple branches
