We are seeking an Employability Skills Trainer & Facilitator to join our team at Asuria, a national education and training provider.

As an expert in employability skills training, you will deliver targeted courses to help individuals from diverse backgrounds build their job finding skills and gain the motivation and career guidance necessary to secure employment.

With our programs supported by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment, you will play a key role in driving the Federal Government's initiative to assist Australians in entering or re-entering the workforce or transitioning into new careers.

Your Role:

You will facilitate the delivery of training to small groups of adult learners using our provided course structure and materials. You will contextualize and tailor your training to best suit the participants' learning needs.

You will be required to effectively use technology in the workplace, coordinate administrative requirements, and assess participant competency levels and compile feedback reports.

About You:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual who has experience as a teacher, trainer, coach, or mentor. You should enjoy supporting people to discover and develop a future career path.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate training delivery to small groups of adult learners
  • Contextualize and tailor training to meet participants' learning needs
  • Use technology effectively in the workplace and coordinate administrative tasks
  • Deliver training and assessment in various environments
  • Provide individual attention and support to maximize learner success

Selection Criteria:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly
  • Experience delivering training as a teacher, coach, or mentor
  • Working with Children's Check and National Police Check clearance (essential)
  • TAE40116 desirable but not essential

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).
