Ambulance Care Specialist

The Ambulance Care Specialist plays a vital role in providing patient care and transportation services. This position involves working with patients who have low to medium acuity cases, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the transport process.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing patient care and clinical monitoring for low to medium acuity cases
  • Delivering accurate and timely clinical handovers during transfers
  • Ensuring high-quality, efficient, and safe patient care
  • Adhering to clinical and operational policies and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families
  • Operating patient transport vehicles safely and in accordance with road laws

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in paramedical science, nursing, or emergency health care
  • Completion of 400 on-road clinical hours for diploma or bachelor of paramedicine holders to qualify as an ambulance care specialist
  • Current full driver's license with a good driving record
  • Current national police check and working with children check
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills
