About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a young lawyer to develop their litigation skills in a dynamic work environment.

This role offers an excellent chance for a litigation professional to collaborate with experienced colleagues and learn from them.

This position is ideal for someone with knowledge of construction law, experience in front-end construction, contract drafting, and security of payment matters, who wants to advance their career quickly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling a diverse range of disputes, with a specific focus on insurance law, construction matters, property disputes, and other commercial litigation
  • Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing case files for court proceedings
  • Collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to develop effective litigation strategies
  • Attending court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations on behalf of clients
  • Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on complex legal issues
Requirements
  • Young lawyer with strong litigation skills and some experience in front-end construction and contract drafting
  • Familiarity with insurance law and relevant litigation experience in relation to coverage disputes
  • Possess a passion for litigation work and be eager to engage in a wide range of commercial disputes that often involve real property
  • Motivated to rapidly progress to an Associate role
  • Demonstrate good client and practice management skills
  • Not afraid of challenges
  • Able to thrive in a team environment and value accuracy
