Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide holistic support to young people and their families through centre-based, outreach, or telehealth services.
  • Deliver brief interventions and coordinate care for mild to moderate mental health concerns.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments (bio-psycho-social, risk, AOD) and build collaborative action plans.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver trauma-informed, age-appropriate, and culturally aware support.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Mental Health Nursing.
  • Registration as a Mental Health Counsellor or Psychotherapist (ACA Level 3+ or equivalent).
  • Skills in assessment, risk management, and therapeutic interventions.
  • A natural ability to connect and communicate with young people.
  • An understanding of trauma-informed care and a passion for early intervention.
