Assistant Store Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Platypus Smithfield store. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, achieving operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in leading a team of passionate sales assistants to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Monitor store sales, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive growth.
- Effectively manage wage costs, adhere to rostering standards, and maintain high team morale.
- Closely monitor store presentation, visual merchandising, and stock levels to ensure optimal results.
- Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and achieve individual goals.

Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience as a sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC in a retail environment.
- A motivated and driven attitude, with a passion for leading and inspiring a team.
- A proven track record in driving sales and meeting KPIs and targets.
- Operational excellence and experience with stock control and visual merchandising.
