Job Role

The Job: We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Professional to join our dynamic team in Sydney.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of high-quality payment solutions for the travel industry. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the company's testing strategies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test automation strategies to ensure quality and reliability
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives across multiple product teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices to enhance team performance
  • Collaborate with development teams on shift-left testing approaches to identify and resolve issues early
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Technical Implementation:
  • Design and develop robust Playwright test suites to automate testing
  • Create reusable test components and page object models to streamline testing
  • Implement data-driven testing approaches to increase test coverage
  • Build custom testing utilities and helper functions to support testing efforts
  • Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines for automated execution to reduce manual effort
Quality Assurance:
  • Perform comprehensive testing of web applications and APIs to ensure quality and reliability
  • Execute regression testing for major releases to identify and resolve issues
  • Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and improve testing
  • Validate user experience across different devices and browsers to ensure consistency
  • Ensure security testing practices are implemented to protect against vulnerabilities
Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, retrospectives, planning) to facilitate team collaboration and progress
  • Provide clear test reporting and quality metrics to stakeholders and leadership
  • Document test cases, procedures, and known issues to support knowledge sharing and reuse
  • Presentation of quality insights to stakeholders and leadership to inform decision-making

Our ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java Script automation testing, extensive hands-on experience with Playwright framework, and strong experience in Payments, banking and/or financial services.
