Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Parramatta. As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing domestic assistance, personal care, and social support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Salary and Benefits: The successful candidate will receive an estimated $35-$45 per hour, plus superannuation, paid KM's, phone allowance, and discounts on food, clothing, health, and well-being, entertainment, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping
  • Assisting with personal care, such as getting customers up, showered, and dressed, managing medication, and assisting with mobility and therapy goals
  • Offering social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Providing respite and emotional support
  • Transporting customers to appointments
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

Requirements:

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle
  • The ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help
  • Availability to work at least 3 days - Monday to Friday, no night or weekend work
  • Care and compassion for assisting our aged community
