Foster and Kinship Care Service Team Leader

We are seeking a visionary Team Leader to spearhead our Foster and Kinship Care Service in Cape York. As a seasoned professional, you will lead a passionate team of support workers in delivering high-quality services to children, youth, and families in statutory care.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of trauma-informed care and child development, with experience leading teams in a care or support setting. You will be responsible for overseeing intake, assessment, and care planning processes, as well as supervising and mentoring support workers and practitioners.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with families, carers, and external stakeholders
- Experience working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, children, young people, families and communities
- Demonstrated understanding of child protection and out-of-home care systems
