Assisting elderly people to remain at home is such a rewarding experience.

Home Instead is a leading provider of high-quality, relationship-based in-home care services for ageing adults. We employ almost 200 people in the local community. Our services include assistance with personal care, light household duties, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping and social outings.

We are seeking reliable, empathetic and compassionate Carers to assist elderly clients with non-medical assistance in their own homes. Shifts available range from 2 hours per day to overnight care and weekend services across a 7-day week.

We service suburbs in Melbourne's Inner South & Bayside. If you are successful, you will be scheduled to attend client's homes near to your location.

Essential Requirements:

  • A clear National Police Check.
  • An insured, clean vehicle and Driver's Licence is required.
  • A smartphone and access to internet.
  • COVID vaccination.

Desirable Attributes:

  • No certifications or qualifications necessary.
  • Personal caregiving experience (formal or informal) will be highly regarded.
  • A second language is highly desirable.

Job Type: Casual

Salary: $28.00 - $68.00 per hour
