Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to provide assessment, management, and treatment of patients with communication and swallowing disorders in subacute settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessment, management, and treatment of patients with communication and swallowing disorders in subacute settings.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior Speech Pathologists to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in speech pathology.
- Mastery of speech pathology principles and practices, preferably with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in the field.
- Eligibility for membership of professional bodies such as Speech Pathology Australia and knowledge of position papers/code of ethics.
- A clear National criminal history check and/or willingness to obtain one.
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in adult Speech Pathology, demonstrating expertise and leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- A supportive and dynamic work environment that fosters growth and development.
- Ongoing professional development opportunities, including training, workshops, and conferences.
- A focus on wellbeing initiatives and employee recognition programs, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
