Overnight Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Overnight Operations Manager to join our overnight operations team.

The ideal candidate will ensure smooth and efficient hotel operations during the overnight shift, delivering a seamless guest experience and ensuring the safety and security of our guests and team.

  • Ensure excellence in overnight service aligned to InterContinental Sydney service standards by overseeing nightly operations and collaborating with overnight departments.
  • Manage guest relations, own and resolve any complaints or issues that arise promptly.
  • Anticipate guest needs, resolve escalated issues quickly, and ensure service excellence.
  • Conduct night audits to ensure financial transactions and reports are accurate.
  • Evaluate and improve property security by conducting regular checks.
  • Support front office teams to deliver exceptional service and efficiency in check-ins, check-outs, and guest queries.
  • Handle emergency situations, including medical issues, fire alarms, or security concerns.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have extensive experience in hotel front office operations, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Requires strong skills in team development, coaching, and conflict resolution.
  • Should be familiar with Hotel Property Management Systems.
  • Must possess high attention to detail and operational oversight.
  • Must demonstrate a proactive approach to mentoring and supporting team performance.
  • A personal presentation and ability to take ownership and resolve any issue or request will be key to creating a seamless, luxury experience for our guests.
  • Full Australian Working rights with no restrictions are required.
