Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Engagement Strategies
    • Design and implement effective engagement strategies to connect with key stakeholders and communities.
  • Support Engagement Teams
    • Collaborate with engagement teams to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders and communities.
  • Identify Community Issues and Needs
    • Identify local community issues, constraints, and needs to ensure timely, relevant, and tailored consultation occurs based on local values, concerns, and preferences.
  • Attend Engagement Events
    • Attend in-person engagement events alongside the Communications and Engagement team.
  • Collate Feedback and Secretariat Duties
    • Collate feedback from in-person engagement activities as part of the deliberative engagement process, with other secretariat duties as required.
  • Support Engagement Tasks
    • Support the Coordinator of Community Engagement with engagement tasks and respond to requests from project teams as and when required.
  • Develop Communications Collateral
    • Support the development of communications collateral to inform, define, and promote projects.
  • Evaluate Engagement Activities
    • Monitor and evaluate community and stakeholder engagement activities to identify and action continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Qualifications
    • Hold relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience in Stakeholder or Community Engagement
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the stakeholder or community engagement space.
  • Public Sector Experience
    • Previous public sector experience is highly advantageous, however it is not essential.
