Business Strategist Leader

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Finance Lead to join our organisation and contribute to shaping commercial strategy, driving performance, and delivering business-critical insights.

This leadership role offers a rare opportunity to join a business in an exciting phase of growth and transformation. As a key member of the finance leadership team, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and play a pivotal role in driving business improvement initiatives.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing commercial finance team by mentoring and guiding your team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Deliver insightful commercial analysis to drive performance and profitability by providing data-driven recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Partner with operational and executive teams to influence key business decisions by building strong relationships and communicating effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles by providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Deliver actionable insights to support business growth and efficiency by analysing complex data and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.

About You:

  • You should be Chartered Accountant (CA)/Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualified with a strong commercial background and a proven track record in business partnering and delivering meaningful commercial outcomes.
  • Have experience in leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders, with demonstrated success in driving business improvement initiatives.
  • Possess strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
