Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated finance professional to join our team as a Relationship Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial finance, sales intelligence, excellent communication and relationship skills, high attention to detail, general computer skills, and be reliable, hardworking, and competitive.

In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business through daily phone calls, collaborating with the Managing Director to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, liaising with customers to gather information and supporting documentation, and understanding financier credit policies to assist clients with suitable solutions.

Our company finances various types of new or used assets, including business loans, transportation equipment, business vehicles, construction equipment, farming equipment, forestry equipment, mining equipment, manufacturing equipment, medical equipment, hospitality equipment, commercial boats, and commercial aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business through daily phone calls
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
  • Liaise with customers to gather information and supporting documentation
  • Understand financier credit policies to assist clients with suitable solutions

Required Skills:

  • Experience in commercial finance preferred but not required (ongoing training provided)
  • Sales intelligence and ability to quickly switch between conversations with different types of business owners
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills (phone, writing, and in-person)
  • High attention to detail
  • General computer skills (CRM knowledge helpful)
  • Reliable, hardworking, and competitive
